FAQ
Q: Is this the internal or external battery for the T580?
A: This is the **internal (front)** battery located inside the laptop. The T580 also uses a removable external (rear) battery. Please verify which one needs replacement before ordering.
Q: How do I identify the generation of my ThinkPad?
A: Check the "Type" number (e.g. 20L9, 20LA) on the bottom panel. This battery fits the T570/T580 generation specifically. Ensure your model is listed in our compatibility table.
